Questions From The Field

Asked and answeredbefore you head out.

When does the Expedition kick off?

The Expedition begins June 8, 2026, with staggered locations and weekly releases across ten towns and regions throughout the summer.

How do I register?

Text our Expedition line, scan the QR code on this page, or visit clearwaterproperties.com/expedition.

What counts as a winning coin?

Each cache contains exactly one official Winning Coin, a metal coin clearly stamped with a unique alphanumeric code.

How is the winner verified?

You bring the physical coin to the designated verification location for that region. Organizers check the alphanumeric code against their master record.

Can I team up with friends?

You can cache with friends, but each participant registers individually, and only the person who physically delivers the coin is recorded as the winner.

What if I cannot find a cache?

Stay on public access points, follow the clues carefully, and do not damage any surroundings. If a cache appears damaged or missing, email [email protected].

Are there any rules I should know upfront?

Yes: no drones, no metal detectors, no public spoilers during the contest window, and no trespassing.
