The first-ever Clearwater Properties Geocache Expedition, staged across ten regions in Montana, Idaho, and North Dakota. Three official caches per region. Recover one of the coins, verify it, and claim the prize.
Find the caches, recover the marked coins, deliver for verification; first to find the caches in each region wins.
Register by filling out the form on this page.
On each region kickoff date, GPS coordinates will be sent to a small, randomly selected group of participants.
Travel to the cache locations on your own schedule. Pack water, your phone, and a backup battery.
Each region contains three hidden caches. Each cache holds one official Winning Coin, stamped with a unique code.
Bring the physical coin to the designated location for verification and receive your prize.
Coordinates drop weekly. Grab your GPS, hit the back roads, and rediscover the beauty of the wilderness.
Each cache hides one official coin. Photos do not count. Texts do not count. The physical coin, in your hand, claims the prize.
A premium Orvis Helios D fly rod built for river days across Clearwater country.
A Blackstone Culinary Pellet Griddle Combo ready for backyard dinners, tailgate weekends, and post-expedition cookouts.
A basecamp-ready camping package with shelter, cold storage, and trail gear for the next long weekend outdoors.
Prizes awarded only after the Winning Coin is physically authenticated by organizers at the designated location. Non-transferable. No cash equivalent unless explicitly stated. Photos, texts, or social posts of the coin will not be accepted as a valid submission.
Registration begins on June 17, 2026 and the Expedition begins June 26, 2026, with staggered locations and weekly releases across ten towns and regions throughout the summer.
The registration form is located at the bottom of this page.
Three official coins have been hidden for each hunt. The coins are clearly marked with a unique code. The winner will confirm the coin via text message, but the prize cannot be earned or claimed until the coin is turned in to a Clearwater Representative.
You bring the physical coin to the designated verification location for that region. Organizers check the alphanumeric code against their master record.
You can cache with friends, but each participant registers individually, and only the person who physically delivers the coin is recorded as the winner.
Stay on public access points, follow the clues carefully, and do not damage any surroundings. If a cache appears damaged or missing, email [email protected].
Yes: no drones, no metal detectors, no public spoilers during the contest window, and no trespassing.
